Landsailing Info from the Northwest |

Dave Lord, a landsailer and kite flyer from Washington sent some pictures. They include craft built by him and Rich Crnich, who makes them for sale. They both sail at Alvord dry lake in Oregon.
Dave's Newest Landsailer Dave makes extensive use of
windsurfing sails and masts. The sails are often recut to remove the luff
curve, which flattens the sail and makes it faster. Used windsurfing sails
can often be picked up for bargain prices at swap meets and want ads.
Rich Crnich's Landsailers Rich lives in Oregon, and
builds a couple of landsailers for sale. I don't get a commission, just
showing you the pictures! His craft are made from aluminum, and also use
windsurfing sails and masts.
