Mar 5, 2010 Although the annual Playas NM event is
cancelled there are still efforts being made to have an event at
another location. Tentative dates (if things work out) are May 12-16
2010. Check back regularly for latest updates. Check
out a video of some sailing at Playas here We recently purchased a Santana 21 sailboat, check out some pics and info here. I have been elected, (through no fault of my own), as webmaster for the new home of Foothills Kite Club. If you are interested in kiting in the Denver area, please take a look at our club site. Ice sailing; A couple of us went to Georgetown Lake for a great day of sailing last season, and a reporter from the Denver Post came along for the day. We all had a blast sailing. Ever wondered how to have a campfire, and the ability to cook over it as well? The tub from a washing machine makes a wonderful firepit, and with a few modifications it can be used almost anywhere.
